LTR wins King's Award for Voluntary Service

LTR has been greatly honoured to be given the King's Award for Voluntary Service in yesterdays honours list. This is the equivalent of an MBE for charitable organisations and is a great accolade for all of our volunteers who work so hard throughout the year to help everyone to read, in Ipswich. LTR was one of 5 Suffolk charity organisations to win this award this year.

LTR Delivers for Stronger Practice Hub

Our teams, helped by staff from the Highfield Stronger Practice Hub, spent 4 days packing book-bags for over 1,100 children in early years settings across Ipswich. In addition, the volunteers packed packs for 24 mini-libraries and over 330 dual-language books. This is all part of our "books into homes" initiative.
